I did a 3500sf house with crown throughout and lots of doors and windows the same way it sounds like you plan on doing. The best setup I found was the pro painter that came and finished everything up off and on between larger jobs!
Getting that disclosure out of the way, I did probably 75% myself. It just was not worth the time once I found the guy. I started trying a gravity hvlp primer gun with a large tip, didn’t work for me. Had some success with a small graco airless sprayer but it was a bit like painting with a garden hose. It worked but was wasteful.
Best setup I found was a binks 95 on a harbor freight pressure pot. I dropped the entire gallon of proclassic in the pressure pot and would blow the lines out back into the pot when I was finished. At $65/gallon it paid for itself over the more wasteful airless sprayers. I did have to add some valves and an extra regulator to the pressure pot. There are lots of tips on goggle for that setup. For cleanup of the water based paint I just used a compressor to blow out the lines then ran a garden hose through them, them blew out again and cleaned the gun as normal. It was easier than cleaning a brush.
