Needing some torque wrench advice

I'll be ordering a 1/4" drive torque wrench on Monday. I'm torn between SO Techwrench and the Techangle.

I don't normally come across torque to yield bolts, but do you all feel that it's worth the extra $50 to have that feature in case I do? I work on older diesels, but I'm sure soon enough I'll have newer models in my hands so that's what I keep coming back to. Something keeps telling me that I'd be better off just getting the Techwrench in the 1/4" model and having my 3/8" and 1/2" ones in the Techangle.

All advise/experiences are welcome.

I cannot imagine a torque to yield bolt small enough to require a ¼ drive torque wrench. I would think a regular beam or clicker type would suffice. Most TTY bolts are head bolts, that I know of.

Those were my thoughts too, but I wasn't sure. Head studs are the only torque to yield bolts that I've come across this far.

I have all 3 sizes, only have the angle feature in the 3/8" one. The 1/4" is super nice to have, and a down side to the angle one is it eats batteries a lot quicker than the non angle one, plus it takes a lot longer to start up.

There are cab bolts that are one use only now.The cab bolts for the 2011 and up Ford superduties are torque to yield used once only.Jaguar headbolts can used up to 3 times, have to mark the headbolts after torqueing them down.

Never should have to use the TTY feature for a 1/4 drive wrench. 3/8-Yes, if clearance is an issue (most TTY bolts are larger/in more open places) and 1/2 drive definitely.

Thanks guys, I sure do appreciate you helping out on this! I has a suspicion that I wouldn't find much use for a Techangle in that size, but I wasn't sure. Looks like the Techwrench it is!
