Background: I am looking at building a 60x120 pole barn for personal/business use. I work on cars as a hobby and need somewhere to install a lift and have the room to tear apart cars etc, etc. This is coming out of my pocket since it will mainly be for personal use. So after talking with my partner, the ground and concrete will be donated as long as the business get's to use half of it when needed. So i agreed. 60x60 will be for my personal use. And 60x60 will be for the business.
Now what im asking from you guys is this... What should i consider when building this. one 60x60 will be insulated with in floor heat, The other half will be just gravel and no insulation. I'm also looking at sectioning off on end to enclose and make a break room and bathroom as well as a utility closet to house the utilities and air compressor. This will also be the area i do a little adult beverage drinking.
This whole section, which will be roughly 60x20 will also have storage above it.
Im looking at having a central air line with multiple locations to hook onto. Floor drains. and plenty of work benches. What else am i missing guys?
