Nice set. Don't know anything about the Neiko brand except Taiwan made. But that and 3000 positive reviews has to be a good sign. The 'NEIKO' brand etching looks to use the same outline text like the 'TEKTON' logo.

Yup, just ordered it up. I will post when it arrives. I have a set of Neiko insulated pliers that have worked just fine as I redid my electrical panel.

I was just looking at my individual impact sets today, and trying to figure out if I should sell. This set fills in some sizes (who cant use another 10mm... in 1/2" drive), and quite complete for extras.

3xCamel has previous price typically $160-190.

Does anybody have an update or new experience with Neiko impact sockets. I'm looking to replace sets that were recently stolen.

I'm skeptical of online reviews in general, but Amazon's are the worst in my opinion. We're constantly subjected to things like: "ripoff, missing 29, 30 and 31 mm sockets" in a review that's supposedly for a set of 10-24 mm sockets. And the reviews of ANY Dewalt tool seem to include reviews of EVERY DeWalt tool.

The stolen tools were Sunex and Gearwrench, as well as a bunch of misc oddballs and extensions. They also took 2 impact wrenches and an impact driver. I don't necessarily need anything more than occasional usage tools now, so I'm looking for good but economical replacements.

But it sounds Japanese, which generally commands a nice premium.

I don’t doubt the quality of the tools, but wonder how many of the 3000 reviewers actually used the tools?

Most reviews are based on the order being correct, complete, undamaged and delivered quickly.

Well I bought this set when it was on sale and they have been just fine.

People wonder about the CrV vs CrMO but frankly I don't see any difference in performance. I keep em in the original case and I don't really use the ratchet, but it works fine.

I also don't use the extensions either because I have ton of them loose in the drawer so I just grab one when I need it.

Overall I give them a thumbs up.
