Just got a couple of neon signs that are pretty cool but since I'm not really into Nascar or Budlight. I think I'll move them to help pay for other projects.

My question is is anyone aware of a site where I could price these?
I've search online and on e-bay w/o much luck.

I seen signs sized like 2'x2' or similar to yours priced by retailers around $225.00. The more actual neon tubing there is the more expensive the sign. I'd set your minimum bid about $50.00 over what you paid and put them on Ebay.

If you have more than one tube, that will raise the price, too. One tube is usually for one color family and two means there are two families. You can usually tell by the tubes. If one is clear, that is usually a red family. If it somewhat opaque, it's a cooler color family. At least that's the way I was taught by a neon oldtimer.

Keep 'em as a 'winner/buyer pick up only' and everybody will live happily ever after.

I have seen neon on Craigslist for around 100-175 here in Mississippi. But then again, Craigslist is for cheapskates like me who don't want to pay a lot for anything.

Good luck!

Sold a Spuds Bud Light neon several years ago on Ebay. Got a couple hundred for it. USPS and UPS would not accept it to ship due to compressed gas. I ended up buying two huge heavy duty boxes from a shipping store, double boxing, and not mentioning what it was. Made it to the buyer just fine.

I knew some one that worked at UPS and they always shipped fragile stuff in plastic igloo coolers. They said alot of people do that.

It's hard to price. You've got to find the right buyer.

Amount of neon and # of colors make a big difference, as well as the brand actually being advertised.

Can you post a pic of them lighted up?
