Neon signs- how many on 1 circuit?

I have friends who have more than a dozen on 1 20 amp circuit. When I built the garage- I had plans for some neon on 1 wall that has access from the backside (attic) later. I ran 12/2 on a single dedicated circuit to a 20 amp rated switch. The plan is to cut in a box for each sign as they go up & turn them all on w/ the switch. These aren't the huge exterior signs, they are the small beer type signs, several are newer looking. I can't find anything on the transformer thing for the neon about watts, only that it takes 120v.
How many of these could safely be installed on a single 20 amp circuit?
I have 4 so far waiting to be installed.
A couple like this & one big 30x36 that's on it's way.

Each sign will be different. They should have useage markings on the back label.

Having said that, the small ones don't take much at all. I think that budgeting 1amp per sign would be more than sufficient.

They have areas where labels used to be. Appears they fell off years ago.
The new one should arrive in a week or so. Since that one is new- it should have ratings intact. My plans are for 6-8 neon fixtures on 1 dedicated 20 amp circuit.
What about plugging one in & use an amp clamp to see what they draw- or am I overthinging this?

You could certainly do that. However, I'm very confident that you'll have no problem running 6-8 small neon fixtures on a single 20A circuit.

Turning it on initially will give you the biggest draw. After that, it's not too bad.

The big one arrived today (that was quick!). Has 2 neon transformers on it w/ 2 separate cords that are rated at 0.6 amps....each.

I'm worried about nothing.
