Nepros Ratchets

Anybody on here have this set? I am intrigued by the Nepros brand. Are these tools made in Japan? I know that they are stamped "Japan" but I read on here that they are manufactured in Taiwan...is this true? It doesn't say anything on their website about where they are made. Just where they are designed.

Search for the Nepros hand tool thread. You will get good info there. To answer your question - Nepros is made in Japan in a special factory owned by the Kyoto Tool Company. KTC is one of the largest tool manufacturers in Japan and Nepros is their top line of hand tools. My personal opinion is that Nepros are the finest hand tools made in the world today. The Nepros ratchets are very nicely made. They use older coarse tooth ratcheting technology but are very smooth.

I have this ratchet set. Very pleased with the ratchets, but I mostly always use the Long ratchet and Flex ratchet. 'Till this day I have not used the Short one yet!
All three ratchets are made in Japan, are stamped with "JAPAN" and the packaging also indicates COO is Japan.

Nepros is "MADE IN JAPAN" All Nepros tools is produced this exact factory:

It takes one week of work to produce one ratchet or adjustable wrench, only if all producing capacity of factory is set to produce only one typ. But factory actually never do that, than thake a guess how much time and care is spend to produce one ratchet!
Price of Nepros in USA is half of the price of Snap on, but I think Snap on is not two times better than Nepros! Only negative side of Nepros is that they do not produce great range of hand tools.
