Nepros screwdriver FYI...

I purchased their nice wooden handle set of six screwdrivers primarily because of the information describing their flat tip blades on nepros.net. Based on the illustration I assumed the flat blades would be of a parallel design. I feel somewhat mislead by their information. Deciding whether to return or keep them right now.

I guess you assumed they were hollow ground. Have you given them a try? they look like a nice driver, but as Monte stated, and if you cant live with them, the PB Swiss drivers are second to none. The most common used drivers from PB will be 6100/4 6100/5 6100/6. Multicraft handles:thumbup:
If Monte is telling you they are good, you know they are good.

@Monte... I have a set of the PB Swissgrip 8100 series. They're great but one can never have enough screwdrivers and that is why the Nepros caught my attention when I saw their illustration and explanation. The actual picture of these drivers on their website is too small to tell if they are in fact parallel tips. My fault I should have asked someone on the board that already has a set.

@blue dog... I assumed they were parallel tips like you would see on PB Swiss or the Hazet 800 series. As you say the Nepros are very nice looking screwdrivers, excellent workmanship and I have decided to keep them as it would cost too much to send them back to Japan. Added a couple more pics below.

Definitely some beautiful looking drivers. The picture does look very misleading though. Looks like they are hollow ground in the depiction but the actual product just looks like a thicker flat head, still angled.

I have eight Nepros screwdrivers and they function very well. I understand you feel mislead but give them a try for a while and I'm sure you'll be impressed by them.

i would keep them !! too beautiful !!!

Me too, just for the industrial art angle to the things.

FWIW, Amazon has PB Swiss 7 piece slotted/Phillips gold-plated sets for $28.95 right now.

I am glad you are going to keep them, they look like excellent drivers. I only have a few things from nepros at this point, but in the future i see a set of those drivers coming over the pond to me.
Tell us how the phillips [ ph1 ph2 ph3 ] fit fasteners? Do they compare to PB Swiss?
