are nesco tap and dies any good. im looking to get the 117-Piece Tap and Die Drill Bit Set. any other brands/set i should look at instead?

Nesco is Ace Tool Warehouse, out of florida.
Typical low-end Asian T&D set.
I wouldn't get too excited.
Keep your eyes peeled for older or NOS ACE/Hanson of similar type.
