What are some of the best Netrile Gloves out there in the Automotive fields?

I currently go through 100 Netrile Gloves from SAS Safety - Raven X-Large gloves in 1 week and half. Priced NOW at $18.75. Used to pay $16.00 and it kept going up. I get them locally 500 feet away from the shop.

Been using these for nearly a year now and it's getting expensive.

Looking for other Brand Gloves similar to these if not better for the same price or more/less.

I'll be watching this thread. I don't use that many, but do want to know about a good source for them at a good price.

I used to use nitrile gloves but now I prefer vinyl. They're less expensive and several times more durable.

I have put this up every time gloves come up. The link will take you to dash medical site where they sell over 100 different types. They offer all sizes of hands in the gloves too. The page I linked to is the case price for garage type jobs. They also offer them in just buy it by the box for 1/10th of the case price. They have all colors, powder free, with powder, oil, what ever you need they can fill it. I personally use the Black Mxx Nitrile gloves. They are my favorite.

I used to buy HF gloves but stopped about 5 months ago because they discontinued the ones that I always stuck and bought. They came out with some other ones and the price went out by $4-$6 dollars if I remembered correctly. After that, I stop buying the Gloves from there.

That's when I started to use the SAS Raven Gloves, they're awesome gloves but paying $18.75 for a box of 100 seems expensive.

I've looked into the Dash Medical website when I have time to browse online. Somehow, I managed to find the same SAS Raven Gloves in X-large for less than $9 dollars for a box of 100.

That only means, the store I get it from all this time is making TWICE the profit!

I'm curious to try the Black Mxx Nitrile gloves. Will order a set and see how it goes.

I use the same gloves as the OP. The SAS Ravens are the best gloves ive tried. They hold up alot better to carb cleaner than other ones

I would rather spend more and use 1 pair of gloves instead of going through 3 or 4 pair of cheap ones

he said he is going through a box every week and a half

so say they last 7-8 working days ... 12-14 gloves a day

clearly they are worth paying twice the price for

I agree about Harbor Freight (I can't believe I just said that!), they seem to hold up well and on sale they're less than $7 for a box of 100 (at least for the ones I use).

you can get black maxx gloves for 7.99 box from dash medical or you can get the pitbull gloves from unisafe for 7.49, either company will deliver free to your house - both high quality medical grade gloves

but you want to get in your car and drive to harbor freight to get their gloves for 7.00 box? :eyecrazy:

I got a pack of Mac gloves at a flea market for a couple bucks. Really liked them because they were thick and came up a little past my wrist.

OK, I missed the FREE SHIPPING part of your post, but I was at Harbor Freight getting new wheels for my new to me hand truck anyway, not a special trip. I will try your suggestions when I need more gloves.

I get boxes of 200 at BJs, and am very happy with them. Seem stronger than from CarQuest. Price is excellent about $12, IIRC.

Dynarex black nitrile for 70 a case shipped from Amazon. The only thing I don't like is you can't write on them and see it very well.

:+1:

I get the black ones in 9mm, they are excellent and super cheap.

Do me a favor, go to your tool box and pick up a 9mm wrench, is the distance between those jaws in any way related to those gloves? Didn't think so, it is 9mils or nine thousandths of an inch. Sorry to sound so harsh but unit mistakes bother me. Kinda like the difference between silicone and silicon.

I use the HF 9mil gloves also. Why? Because they are durable and fairly cheap. Also its only a 10 minute drive for me to go yo hf and when I do go I'm usually getting something else. And besides I hate waiting for something to ship guess I'm just impatient

Innocent typos like the difference between metaleltr and metalmeltr huh? :spit:

Coming from the guy who admits to having typo'ed his own screen name, I can only say: Pot, meet kettle. :D

No worries though, I fixed it so you wouldn't have to look at it anymore. Thanks for schooling me, awful big of you sir.

Yeah I admit we all make mistakes, some don't realize the terms they are using are incorrect and it is this ignorance that bothers me. Mistakes are understandable.

i could see the problem if he was measuring something important and made the mistake... but callin someone out over a single letter in his post is a little harsh, especially since the only consequence was "it bothers you"

who are you again?? :headscrat

they are just gloves bro.
