Neutral, ground separation in sub...

Installing a subpanel off the main and something just occurred to me. The neutral and the ground have a bar between them to my knowledge the they must be separate in the sub. There is a bonding screw that bonds the neutral to the box and I know that it is not used in this situation. So do I remove that bar between the neutral and ground so they they are separated?
It's an Eaton panel.

Yep

Take green screw out (which bonds neutral to box) then add ground lug

I'd flip that panel over. No need to have the feeder running all the way to the bottom

Bonding screw was already removed since the pictures were taken.

those bars are both neutral bars hence the tie bar.

make sure you run a 4-wire feeder

i would add 2 ground bars, one on each side, which will help to keep the wiring clean

Yup.... I realised that about 1 minute after posting and thought... duhhh!


2-2-2-4 with 90a in the main.

Been many years since I last ran a sub and don't remember needing to add the ground bar.
