That is too busy for my tastes. Might look nice if the cabinet was a solid color and the drawer fronts were engine turned.

Why does it hurt my eyes just looking at it?

Jeweling only looks nice when it's on small/overlooked pieces.

It's sort of neat, but it makes me dizzy when I look at it. Might not be the best decoration in a garage full of heavy metal objects.

They had a lot of problems with that box and surface rust. I have read at least a couple posts about it on here. Not sure if you ever see the "Overhauled" show with Chip Foose...but if you look in the shop there is one of those in the background.

I like the engine -turned finish when its used for its original purpose, to hide forming imperfections like the cowl on Lindberg's Ryan Monoplane

Agreed. Could you imagine trying to work in a well lit area with that thing shining like a freaking disco ball? No thanks.

Yep.......all you need is a color wheel from an old aluminum Christmas tree and your all set.........but your gonna need stack shoes and a white leisure suit like John Travolta......"Disco inferno.....burn baby burn.......burn that mutha down..." :lol_hitti
