Had to get some stuff from local Sears they had a 1/4 socket set and I wanted it to try on the impact driver this stuff looks worse than the China stuff we all got as play tools when we were 5 years old. I hadn't bought any craftsman sockets in at least 5 years this stuff ***** I am definitely done with this garbage and going to gearwrench stuff at least it looks okimage.jpg

Those look as bad as the $4 25 piece hf set, how did you get the picture? I hope you didn't buy them.

I have been done with craftsman ever since I tried to warranty out an american made ratchet and they wanted to replace it with one made in china. I didn't buy a china made ratchet I bought an american made one.

I also don't see what is wrong with the socket. What am I missing?

COO and brand snobs need to vent somewhere. I prefer my tools to be American or German made but I don't have an issues with where it came from or how it looks as long as it does the job.

the stamping isn't the most attractive IMO then again i can only compare this picture to my mid 90s and older c-man sockets which have that shallow stamping on them
