After a couple years with only a single 15amp breaker serving my 20x40 garage, I finally had a Sub panel installed...
I was going to do it myself as I have a lot of electrical experience and am fairly familiar with the codes... I installed the 200amp underground service to my house in Texas and rewired it myself. But this is SoCal, and I got some of the most nosy neighbors in the world... Also I discovered I've developed extreme claustrophobia in crawl spaces. Never used to have a problem with it before... Ironically, my electrician said the same thing happened to him around 50.

Anyway, it's in and passed inspection with flying colors... All downhill now.

Nice. If you don't mind, what did it cost to have an electrician do it? I'm looking to add a sub panel to my detached garage and have no idea what something like this would cost.
