Hazet has redesigned their 5000 series of torque wrenches for the 2019 model year. They have been introduced recently and most models are already available. The designation is 5xxx-3CT instead of 5xxx-2CT for the previous model.
What are the differences:
Closer tolerance of 3% (was 4%)
Torque wrench dos not need to be set to the lowest torque value for storage to release the spring and prevent misalignment
Designed for rough workshop use.
Easy-to-read, high-contrast scale, laser marked for long life.
Dirt and debris protection due to a better sealing ring.
More grip: The handle has a roll protection.
Easy setting of the desired torque value through a latching function.
The set torque value is safely locked by a latch.
Locked or not? A symbol shows the locking status.
