I'm in the process of building a new house with a 2x30 shop. I own three classic cars which made me out grow my current home with only two car garage. My plan is epoxy floor, good lightings, drywall the inside, and A/C. It won't be all completed at once but it an on going project.

Looks like a really nice shop that will match the house perfectly since they are being built together. One question: why only 20' x 30' if you own three classic cars? Seems like maybe you should have gone bigger. I figure either you were maxed out with zoning regs at that size or you have plans for a parking lift in there.

I also have a 3 car garage on the house. The 20x30 will hold my 57 Apache truck and to do projects. The three car will hold my 2 other classics and my wife's car. Plus this is as big as the subdivision will allow. I wanted to have a 30x30.

Ah, makes sense. I assumed a double garage on the house to hold daily drivers. That 30' will give you the ability to hold three in a pinch if you put one on rollers, that is how I used to store my Honda S2000 during the winter months in my 30' deep.

I agree! Right now I have a two car that hold both of my classic trucks. I needed something for my wife car and I have another classic coming in October.
