Brand new shop what are you guys using over here in ontario for floor sealant ? i will have a 2 post hoist in it and sleds and atv's all seaons . what my best option guys ? does Armorpoxy have it in Canada ? thanks

I am interested and in the same place and predicament. But just a few questions...heated? going to be any road going vehicles parked in it during winter? (salt and sand)
I am leaning along the lines of a polyurea paint or similar one part DIY durable paint. This way, can be touched up easily every year or couple years as the salt and sand will abrade away anything that is over top the concrete.
If it is new, would look at a sealant or densifier as well. No need to re-apply, will keep the nice looking new concrete....well nice looking.

yes i will have a lot of vehicles in and out and all seasons . looking for something strong durable and easy to clean , and no its not going to be a heated floor just very well insulated .. what about Hellfire coating ? i see Scotty on here a lot maybe he can shime in . avalible in canada ?
Any 'coating' will likely be a temporary solution for a busy shop in Ontario. Take a look at the Canadian-made "Plastipro" tiles. Order a box from Costco and see if you like them, then return the box if they're not what you want. The solid tiles would be good for sweeping out slush, sand and water. Looking like best choice for my Ontario 'cave' right now.

I sealed mine with Thompsons water seal when it was newly poured based on the advice from the concrete supplier. After a year or so, I put down a coat or two of a urethane based floor paint. Looked great but it wore off after a year. This turned out to be a good thing, because if there was one overriding comment I could make....Very Slippery When Wet! Now I am down to bare concrete again, and while it looks crappy, it is perfectly functional.
