This is the start of my 24 x 28 garage. I currently have a one car garage but definitely need more room. The picture is the "before" picture showing the new garage location.

Every garage build starts with a need, an idea, and a bit of open space. Your adventure begins!

Keep the pictures coming. We like pictures. Lots of pictures.

The planning, re-planning, and thinking of changes to the re-plan ... over and over ... is a lot of fun. But not nearly as exciting as actually seeing the dirt begin to move!

Have fun!

Any more pics of the '72? I have a '72 S with 455 and a 68 F85 W31 clone project. Good luck with the build.

Mine was originally a '72 S but it has a 1970 front clip and rear bumper. Even though I like the '70 look a little better, I plan on changing everything back to '72 with all of the 442 trim. I can't wait to get the new garage up so I can get working on it again!

The forms are up. They need to be straightened out a little then on to the gravel. I figured I would have been framing by now but it just won't stop raining.

Is that an Apollo in that one shot? Looks nice.

It is a 1977 Skylark. It is all original with just over 30,000 miles. My father-in-law bought it from the original owner and I bought it from him. It could use some TLC but it is low on the priority list right now.

Wow, it looks great so far. Can't wait to see what you do with the interior.

Looks great. Why the large rear door? Any special plans that require a rear door?

The door is for access to the backyard. The rest of the yard is (will be) fenced. I have a parking area behind the garage for parking the boat or snowmobiles.
