HF I looked at had drawers that were very loose and it turned me off. I didn't give the box too much more evaluation. The HF box was bigger than my extreme if I remember right or at least the one I saw at the store that day.

If I was wrong so be it, love my extreme box. Have done a few car projects and it has worked out great, should last forever in my home shop. Also cleans up quick and easy with a micro fiber towel and some quick detailer.

The HF box I looked at was so loose and crappy I could not believe it. Even the clerk said he was embarrassed by them. I had driven almost 50 miles to the nearest HF with the intention of coming home with either the 44" or 56" [or whatever exact size they are, I don't recall] and left dejected and disappointed. I called StrictlyToolboxes and got a 56" ToolVault [same co. that makes the Extreme] and it is ten times or more the quality of the HFs I looked at. If the HF box meets ones standards, get it. I mean, it's just a tool chest. But if you want a really well-made one for a little more $, check out the Montezuma/Extreme/ToolVault line.

And, yes, I realize a lot of people on the forum are in love with the HFs, and that's ok.

HF has two different grades of boxes. One is ****. The other is actually pretty good, especially for the price. I'd have gotten one if Masterforce hadn't been an option.
