I removed my exhaust fan and installed a Frigidaire 15K Btu window unit this week and it sure is nice. I still have a little trim work to do but it is up and running.

724 ft. 9 1/2 ft ceiling. It is a little small but my building stays cool / warm depending on the season. Wednesday my outside thermometer was right at 100 in the shade at 2 in the afternoon and my shop was 82 having been closed up all day. So it won't take much to knock the edge off.

Frigidaire is now own by Electrolux. They have some very impressive window A/C units !

While more expensive than the Chinese/Korean brands, I think I would buy one of them !

It seems like a nice unit. Home Depot had it for 449.00 . It is actually 15.100 BTU. I had it shipped to the house. The first one arrived via UPS and looked like it had been thrown off the truck at some point so I sent it back and reordered another one. It showed up with the same damage as the first. So I sent it back. I ordered a third one but this time I had it shipped to the store. This one arrived in good condition. So I am happy to just be over all of that.

Very nice. Nice and cool!

What project is hiding in the lower left of first pic?

CT

Thanks !
The A/C will be nice when summer sets in. I can't handle the heat anymore so I can retreat to the shop now. The project is a 47 Studebaker M15 . I am putting a 350/Turbo 400/Moser 60 with a spool and 4:10 gear along with a 10 inch converter.
