New Ad Behavior On Mobiles?

This is only for mobile (android). I run AdBlock so it may be doing it on desktop as well.

I noticed when you initially visit GJ/free parking often it registered any first "click" as if you clicked on an ad banner. So when I click on a thread to open it instead I get a full page google ad. Intentional?

Just for clarification its primarily only been free parking.

Does not sound right to me. If logged on you should not see adverts.

You do see banner ads in free parking logged in or not. It's the only section Ryan did it to because he loves FP so much. The ad popping up on any click is new though.

I'm glad others are having issues, I click on a thread and get a ad page instead and have to back up. I also have adds dropping down from the top of the page to.

I don't get a whole page ad on my phone but I do get banner ads in FP and I was think in GD as well.

I'm having the exact same issue as the o.p. using my Android. No issues on my laptop.

Yep since yesterday or the day before whenever I go on GJ and the first time I click on a thread I get taken to an add. Back out of it and click again and it loads fine. This is on my samsung running android I think. Laptop is fine.

I get no ads anywhere... I use edge, chrome, kindle fire, Android. I would never use an ad blocker. I'm in free parking all day long.

My attitude with ad blockers... if you need one... you already are infected with a virus or adware or spyware.

Ryan has the forum set up that way. Free Parking is only visible to those logged in.

Thanks for efforts on this. I am getting the full page popup when in FP, maybe upon clicking?

Another effect I am getting is the page refocusing so the top edge of the ad is set at the top of the browser window. This seems to happen when I am pinching, scrolling, resizing. Chrome. Android.
