Finished up with my New Age Pro 3.0 cabinets and Wall Control, can't even tell it's a pole barn in here anymore.

Pretty happy with the results and just wanted to thank John for helping me out with my new age setup https://www.shopstoragecabinets.com/ along with a great recommendation on lights for the "clean" work space.

Really digging the wall control panels, cheappegboard.com is fantastic. I honestly can tell the difference between their panels and new ones.

Appreciate everyone's tips/advice along the way, this would have been a much more difficult project with this forum.

Very nice!

I am considering the Wall Control metal pegboard product, what do you think of it? Pros and Cons?

Thanks.

Love it man, if you go with panels off cheappegboard.com you'll save a bundle especially the galvanize ones. They are like 80$ for 8 panels I think. Only downside I see is maybe cost? this stuff will last longer than me though so I really look at it as more of an investment for the family.

Looks sharp and well laid out. I, too, am a fan of Wall Control products.

Off topic question, what's the black, piston-looking thing mounted to the ceiling above the lift.

I only have 10.5ft ceilings so that's my "oh ****" I lifted a car to high bar. It prevents getting a car pushed into the ceiling and prevents a car from going too high on the locks and not being able to lift it off the locks without hitting the ceiling.

It breaks one of the 240 legs if you hit it. Good news is my TA goes all they way up without hitting the bar :) Same can't be said of the suburban.

I should have looked at this thread before I put a dent in the roof of my wife's Sport track. really good idea.

My deciding factor was which system is still going to be around in 20 years. It seems like there are 100's of different slat wall standards. Gladiator has one, husky has one, craftsman has one, every manufacturer has their own standard to enforce the purchasing of their dedicated accessories. That **** pisses me off, that's why I went with wall control. It will take standard pegboard accessories, so if the company stops existing I can still buy stuff for the panels if I want.
