I was wondering if anyone else was having any kind of paint issue with there cabinets. I installed these new about 6 years ago. I have never used any harsh chemicals on them. I am very picky about my stuff and could not be more disappointed with the paint issues on these cabinets. They gray paint is splotchy on about about 2/3s of them. They were purchased all at the same time. It looks like it is bleeding through. It looks worse in person. Thanks

Well that's a shame as those are really nice. Pic #2 shows something that was wet enough to have runs. It may have been under the paint all along, but somehow I doubt it. I'd take some polishing compound to a small spot in an inconspicuous area and see what you can do. I assume you've tried every manner of cleaner.

I got the Pro 3.0 in white and platinum which looks a lot like yours. On the tall cabinets and one of the large drawers, I had issues with the powder coating that looked very similar to your last picture - like a black stain that was showing through. I .didn't have any little spots like that though. They sent me new doors, but I asked right after delivery.

I had a similar experience and got new doors immediately after delivery.

I’d be careful trying to polish them though. The top coat is thin and they will get darker as the base shows through.

You might be able to get a decent deal on powder coating all of them in a bulk order. It wouldn't be cheap mind you, but certainly less than new cabinets. It also give you a chance to switch up the color to anything you can imagine.

I’m no expert, but have experienced something similar when having some powder coating done. The dark spots look similar to an oil contamination. If there is oil on the steel and it’s not removed before powder coating, it will show up as a dark stain with grey powder coating.

Did NewAge ever help you with this?

I have an earlier version of new age cabinets, mine did the same thing.
Did you get a replacement or any help from the manufacturer? I'm hearing this is actually pretty common. A friend who has these had a similar problem.
