New air compressor motor wiring from pressure switch

I just got this air compressor and notice the green wire is off the motor should I ground it to the frame of the motor? There is a short peg it will slide onto but I don't think that's where it goes. Thanks.

To the very right of the motor you see 3 lines that make a triangle. That is a grounding symbol. Crimp a 0 ring on it and bolt it down there.

Replace with a ring terminal, and screw it to the space where I've drawn a red circle. Clean all paint off before doing this.
