Ok, first I'm new and second I apologize as I know this has been asked a million times but the searches I've been doing are confusing me even more.

Here's the drill...
I have a garage with a ceiling height of 127". Not 128 but 127...go figure. I had builder with a big thumb. I have two 8' doors...with 12"s on the wall side and 2' feet to the second door.

I have no damn idea if I can put a two post lift here of any manufacture. I'm also 6'6" so one of those mid height lifts is as bad as no lift at all. I'd rather continue to lay on my back.

I'm going to stop in tomorrow at "Greg Smith" in Indianapolis and spit all these numbers out to those guys...

I plan to not lift giant trucks, tanks nor my mother-in-law....which nothing short of a skycrane could get off the deck. I know I could get away with a lift capacity of less than 8,000 lbs if that lets me get a smaller lift footprint.

Ideas?

One of these will fit no problem though you might have to run the hydraulic lines in a channel in the floor. This could then be cemented over rather than having a floor plate to deal with every time you roll something in that area or trip on when not paying attention.
