Hello all, I am a new member that stumbled across the site while researching my home garage setup.
A little about myself:
Live in sunny hot AZ where 99 is a "cool" day outside. I work at an Electrical Engineering office here in the valley, so my specialties are lighting and power design, as well as wiring to HVAC units. I basically design power systems for residential, commercial and light industrial. I am also knowledgable in LEDs, CFLs, HID, etc..
My current project is trying to figure out how I want to layout my garage. It's a standard 2-car 20x20 garage that is empty right now. I'm in the market for a 60-gallon 220V compressor that I'm not quite sure on where to install. I was thinking next to the water heater which is located in a separate room that is big enough to house both units. This would allow me to hide the compressor and buffer the noise as well, however there is an existing water softener that I need to remove first.
Anyway, I will be around the forum mostly trolling at first to get ideas and whatnot. Please feel free to send any questions.
