I received my new skids for my snowblower (Christmas present for me).

These are 12 inches long vs the 4 1/2 that were original, plus 1/4 thick vs 1/8 on the bottom plate. The one original skid was almost ready to give up the ghost!

I've used the blower once so far, bumping into uneven concrete with the originals, not really looking forward to using it again, But it should make a difference !

Nice! I wanted some of those for my Honda blower, but they didn't have them for my model. Yet ANOTHER reason I hate my Honda.

You're going to like them. They take a little getting used to. The blower may seem like it doesn't want to track straight or even ride up over packed snow more than it used to. I think its because the ArmorSkids don't "knife" through the snow or drag on the surface as much as the stock ones do, so the machine is so much easier to steer it seems "loose". None of it is really a major problem. It's just a little different at first.
