Hey, I haven't posted much but enjoy the forum. Anyways has anyone noticed the more realistic numbers of members online and online activity. The old board would show a large number of members viewing a forum with no new posts for like 12 hours. It didn't make sense to me. The numbers used to be always outrageously high with very little activity. It always seemed very strange to me considering the other forums I frequent never had numbers like the old board but always had more posts. Is this just me or did anyone else question the reported activity? It just seemed strange to me.

It was a change Luke made, relating to how long it took for posts to be left marked 'unread', as I recall. He made a post on the subject a couple months back.

I promise I wasn't cooking the books.

Some of the members had asked that I extend the time that unread posts show up. By doing that it also extended the amount of time that person was shown as logged in.

Ryan is a lot better with Vbulletin than I am, so he seems to have it all sorted out.

I was wondering about the numbers as well. I was hoping our membership/readership was not decreasing.

Thanks for clearing that up.
