yes, I saw another "new tool box" thread, and I've posted in the "lets see your box" thread, but I wanted to start one of my own since I just got a new one today. It's a KRL, uh, forget the exact model. lol .
it is flat black, and will have red anodized trim. (once the rest of the trim and stainless top get delivered that is).
anywho, here's some pics!!!

WHOA! Ive never seen a SO flat black master series! What is the exact part number? There should be a tag on the back with the full number including color.

I REALLY like that.

Your price/cost?
I'll let you know later today, the snapon guy should be here in a few hours... kinda a long story about my "trade in".... lets just say I did REALLY well.... (I'll explain later when I get home, I'm at work now)

Flat black looks great :)
ya, I had planned on stripping down my other box and having it re-powdercoated flat, then I cam across this one..

Congrats, that´s a great looking box!
Now fill it up & post some pics....
got a bunch of my tools transfered over last night, I'll take more pics once I get the top and the rest of the trim...

Very nice!!!!!!!
It would still look badass w/ the chrome drawer trim as well
agreed, but like I said, I dig the red/black... thanks

here's a few pics of the drawers... I've only transfered about 75% so far, and I had to a bunch of tools out while I was at work, so you don't get the full affect, but you get the idea.. and I moved a bunch of my triple/quadruple tools home last week....
and for those who said I'd enjoy the 2 full width drawers, YOU"RE SOOOOO RIGHT

edit, it will only let me upload 2 pics at a time for some reason, and I have dial up, so more pics laters..... lol

got the same one last year (7022) in Arctic Silver (i.e. Gray)..... but I have to admit I have color envy now.... how does that finish wear to the touch? is it matte?

they call it Flat black.. but I think it's more of a matte finish..
it has worn pretty well so far... but, it does have a small scratch on one side that I believe wouldn't have been noticeable on a different color box. ie, the regular type powdercoated boxes... I dropped a pair of pliars and it barely knicked the side and left a mark.. most other boxes you'd have never noticed...
I've been keeping the black matt that came with the box on top of the stainless top... I worked with a guy who's 6 month old top looked 10 years old because he has never had any protection on it...
the anodize will scratch very easily I assume.. my last box had full anodized drawer fronts, and it did scratch pretty easily... luckily on this box it's just the trim that's anodized, so no scratches so far...
I'm a little OCD when it comes to my box/tools, so I imagine it will hold up really well...

I'll post pics in a few days of all the tool shadowing now that it's done too.
thanks for the props fellas

retail is 7,200 ish with all the anodized stuff and stainless top...
I paid nowhere near that, but that's what retail is...
my snapon guy gave me 3,200 trade on a 100 craigslist special... it was a promo he was doing.. then I dold my old box.. when all was said and done, I paid just over a thousand out of my pocket...

and in other news, lol, I just got my "custom built for" tag...

Yeah, I recall I paid $4200 for mine cash... I think the 7200 is the price for the payment plan guys so it's effectively the interest charge. That label is cool, i put mine on the side near the handle.

my tools all have a very specific spot.. the company I work for just implemented a tool control policy. So my entire box is now shadowed. as is my field box.
I'll take pics tomorrow and post them..

here's a couple pics of my Field Box.. it's changed around a bit now, but you get the jist of it.. all my wrenches go in wrench rolls in a small tool bag so they're all accountable for.
pics of the snapon tomorrow..
and btw, have any of ya'll seen the new pelican style snapon box? it's a bit bigger than a Pelican 0450, and is styled pretty much the same.. but it's 750 BUCKS!!!
