New boy from accross the pond!!

Hi chaps, new member here, my names richard and my passion is military vechiles.

Ive restored quite a few over the years, on my driveway!! Sadly most people here in the UK don't have the garages you guys have.

I'm lucky because my dad is a retired mechanic, not a fitter as he always tells people!!

A few pictures;

My dog malcolm, he can be a right git sometimes, was on the computer one night and thought to myself, 'dogs very quiet', went to investigate, the little sod had nicked one of my reebok trainers and ate it!!

My current land rover, 110;

I don't have a compressor, so when I paint a MV I use a gloss roller, myy 110 when it was green and after I painted it;

How I painted it;

Rubbed down with an electric DA;

Old diesel engine was knackered!, My dad and I rebuilt a used petrol engine and fitted it. It was rebuilt in my dads single garage;

Freshly painted engine bay and new engine;
