New Britain NS40 question

I'm new to the forum and wanted to introduce my self and ask my first question. I have a New Britain NS40 ratchet that belonged to my grandfather. I'm restoring it, and I seem to have lost the compression spring for the selector switch. Would anyone know where I could find a replacement spring.

There are small diameter springs in disposable lighters. They press up the flint. A cut down one might work.

I use the springs out of old ball point pens. Learned that trick from my dad.

You could always buy the same Craftsman ratchet and use it for parts.
