new britain socket identify?

I have this old socket that come in a box of random sockets I got... I run across it the other day and thought to finally see if anyone knew what its use is???

markings on it are: "New Britain", "MADE IN USA", and NB-634S

3/8" drive

It's an oil sending unit socket. Common to many older domestic cars .
Double broached for 1" and 1 1/16" typical sending units.

The closest thing we had to "Sensors" back then.......were curb feelers.........:D

oil pressure sender socket I have one just like it I bought at Lee Auto Parts in Arlington, Va. in the seventies, They are gone but I still use it all the time.
