my powers of telepathy are week today but, i think it's for a 1960s GM oil pressure switch.....

The Socket is 3/4" Drive. Looks like a Tall ball joint socket ? ID is 1 3/4 " Flat to Flat. Pictures coming. I was hoping someone had a old New Britain tool catalog with the socket in it.

Sounds like an oil pressure sending unit(?) socket, but I don't think I've seen one in a 3/4" drive.
