New Britian NM 20??

I picked this up at a garage sale. The reason being my dad had New Britian SAE wrenches in his toolbox, 50 years (or more) ago, so I recognized the name. Question is what's missing / used for... 1/4 inch drive. Used in drill?? Missing a handle, any thoughts are appreciated.
