New Britain Sets and box

3/4" drive set. Complete from 1-1/16 - 1-3/4" and includes slide bar. Slide bar is missing the very small detent ball on one end and is a little beat up but fine mechanicaly except that little ball that keeps the drive part from sliding off one end. The great thing is NAPA will give you a new $100 one for free as these are warranted through NAPA for life. Sockets are in great shape, just dirty. $38 plus shipping

1/2 COMPLETE New Brittian set. I've neer seen so original and complete with ALL sizes from 1" to 7/16 and includes the odd sizes. Includes ratchet, 2 extensions and breaker bar. All in good shape but the 5/8 socket shows a little wear. $39 plus shipping

Guess I should throw the box up here too though I may keep it. In good shape considering it is very old. Not bent up. The lock hasp is a little messed up/ Looks like someone cut it insted of a lock off. I will even throw in a few stray tools. $35 plus shipping.

Keep posted, more going up for sale today.

I love the way that box looks, but I don't have a spare $40 to drop on it, which is a shame. I would NOT restore it. Paint is cheap and easy to find. But, you can't BUY that patina anywhere. Once it's gone, it's gone :(

That is an awfully cool box. And tempting. If you did a restoration like Hellcat did on that '40s Craftsman box, that New Britian could look really good...

I think this one would clean up pretty nice with some rubbing compound. I may try a spot today and see how it looks.

I could go $28 on the box but shipping is going to be $10-15 depending on location.
