Hi all,

Just thought I'd post a few pics of my in-progress garage build. It's a 20' x 28'. Unfortunately, that's all I had room for on my lot, but it'll seem like a lot more compared to what I've been working with. It's framed out right now, waiting for inspection. I'll post some more pics when it's done.

Funny, I'm in the middle of building a 18'x24' (I was also space limited) and once it's done, my in-progress C3 resto will be taking up residence in the new garage. It looks like you'll be doing the same with your in-progress C3.

Nice tall ceiling, so are you planning on getting a lift?

Racerex, that C3 is a 1970 350/350 (L46) 4 speed. It's a mild resto, runs decent but I had to do some fixing to get it there. I have a homemade paint booth in my attached garage that I'll be moving to the new one. The vette's paint will be one of the first projects in the new garage.

Mac, no A/C. I really don't mind heat as long as I'm not in direct sunlight. I've got this garage facing north with the garage door on one end and a 7' wide double door on the other, so I can take advantage of whatever southern breeze I can get around here in summer. I'm also putting gable fans in both ends to help draw air through. What I do mind is cold. I have a small 220V ceiling mounted electric heater in my current garage that I'm moving to this one. The building will be well insulated so it'll make it nice even on a cold day.

SilverPlate, I'm on on the north side of Lake Lewisville between Little Elm and Corinth.
