New C-man chrome wrenches

Dont know if therr is a thread for this already but I was at sears today looking at there wrenches, the new chrome ones actually look nice its my first time seeing them. I have the raised channel ones from a fee years ago when I was like 18, they always served me well still have them in my truck since I.upgraded my box to snap on. So my question is are these new china ones really that bad? They look pretty good and consistsnt in their castings. Just curious if anyone has experience with them.

I had a 21mm, 22mm that the open end spread rather quickly. IDk if that was because I did alignments all day with them.

I would buy something else. I have recently started to buy Wright tools because of GJ and their wrenches are really nice.

I wasn't really thinking about buying them just that they looked pretty good especially for a china tool. I gave up on craftsman a while ago after trying to warranty a ratchet I got at a tag sale, never had such a fuss over a "lifetime" warranty. Ever since I went from hobbyist to career mechanic I've switched to snap on mostly (I'm slightly branded lol) but I do read a lot on here and I take a lot of peoples opinions on here into consideration when buying stuff. well if you are doing it every day, I would recommend snapon fd+ wrenches. I have heard good things about wright and have a couple williams wrenches.

I know what you mean. I do alignments and with those husky wrenches I had they would spread the open end so fast. I ended up switching to a big adjustable and a set of locking pliers.

Snap-on FDP,wrenches can't be beat.

I can say from experience with my 15mm wrench and lots of transmission work, that the Chinese craftsman wrenches spread faster than a ******, and the snap-on FDP wrenches stay as closed a a nun on Sunday.

If you really want a beyond spectacular wrench, go with Hazet. I didn't and wish I had.

That's what I primarily use. There is no substitute in my opinion. My dads used them for years and I got them even before I switched to career. Those things just grab and don't let go. I just need to find a decently priced set for metric lol
