Hello folks!
New to Garage Journal. My name is Tim, I am from Chatham-Kent, Ontario. Small Southern Ontario town in the Great White North
I come from a family that has always been surrounded by automobiles, big and small. Long line of mechanics, and I just recently moved into the trade. Working along side my cousin, a licensed mechanic, spent 12 years with Ford before opening his own shop. I've always been a wrench turner, but have, within the laster few years, decided to move into it professionally.
Just getting started as far as buying tools. Alot of hand me downs, Mastercraft specials and kijiji finds, but hey, they all work. Box is a combo of a Gray Tools bottom, and an Armstrong top. Given to me by said cousin, to help me get started.
Sockets. Mounted on a block, is on top of my box now lol.
Metric Wrenches.
Standard Wrenches.
Ratchets. Mix of Mastercraft, Snap On and Pro Point.
Extensions. Mastercrafts and Snap-on.
Pliers.
Screwdrivers galore lol.
Air Tools. Mac green impact is my favorite. Lots of power.
Like I said new to the trade. Learning something new everyday, and looking forward to learning more on here too! Cheers to you all!
