Capri released new comfort grip Ratchets in their March 2023 flyer. 90 tooth, seem longer and more expensive than Tekton versions. I'm interested in the long ratchet pictured but, not offered for sale at the moment. Perhaps long and flex head versions won't be far behind. kind of surprised the direction switch isn't recessed. Capri is running a sale where if you buy the 3 piece set, you can add a select bit or socket set at a discount.

Judging by the selector, im guessing these are William Tools TW sourced.
If so, probably similar to the Diehard 90t thats already out there in long flex.

Sounds plausible, great attention to detail there KnurledNut I wish they would have kept the goat head logo on their new ratchets. That's almost as bad as SK doing away with the green direction switch on the LP90 series ratchets.

These do look like the DieHard ratchets (Icon too) inside and out. If the same then good. I have the Diehards (flex, soft grip, 2-scew plate) and they're very nice. IMO as good as any (mid-tier?) Taiwan stuff. So the Capri Flex Soft Grips may look like these:

the question I have, is how large do those ridges make the handle?

So curiosity got the best of me and I ended up getting the 3 piece set. First impressions are these are pretty nice. Surprisingly close to the Snap-on ratchets I have in terms of dimensions and feel in the 1/4 and 3/8 drives. I don't have a 1/2 Snap-on to compare. Even the back drag and sound of the ratchets are pretty close. The biggest difference is the retention ball on the Snap-on ratchets is stronger so it retains the sockets better. However, I don't think the Capris will be dropping sockets. I'd recommend them if you don't mind made in Taiwan.

They are serviceable. The 1/2 and 3/8 have torx screws and the 1/4 has philips.

I have the Diehard flex handle set and absolutely love them. Same internals as Milwaukee, now it's nice to see Capri being another option. I've been looking for a deal on the non-flex. Looks like the Diehard is still the best price wise.

My Koken ratchets are hard to beat but these new Capris I have are the ones I pick up first now. They're fantastic IMO.
