New Cement protection from framing.

Just poured my floor and want to keep it peotected from the framers, electricians, etc. This is temporary before I put down race deck or something.

Around here the builders use a product called Blackboard. It is mainly used for exteriorwall sheeting in place of OSB , except corners, when vynil siding is used. It is a fiborus product comes in 4x8 sheets. The builders will cover the garage floors on the more expensive homes with it to portect the floor during construction.

we put down a very heavy red paper roll stock, used by wood floor guys to protect while houses are being built, it worked pretty well

My builder covered the entire garage floor with sand (about 2-inches deep) to protect from traffic during construction. Seems to have worked and cost was almost nada!!
