Would it be possible to put a bump button in a thread that would be accessible only after the 72 hour window? This would decrease all of the re-posts from the original author and keep the thread even cleaner?
If someone can't figure out that posts are not to be bumped within 72 hours, I doubt they'd be able to figure out how to use the bump button. Better to just delete their ad.
