Picked up the new compressor today. I appreciate all the feedback on the selection and I am very happy with the outcome. Run's good, quite, but man is that sucker heavy!!!

Its a good start to my garage makeover and next week I will do paint and electrical and then flooring the next week, will be nice to get it all finished up.

Here are some pics from today....

Loaded up coming home..

The motor and pump are huge in this thing, but surprisingly quiet.

Her final resting spot. I have already run the new copper pipe into the garage and it mounted on the wall and ready to go. I will be building an enclosure for the entire thing in the days to come.

Thanks guys, loving it already and have not even used it yet.. lol

It's a QT7.5 with 192hrs on her. 7.5hp, 80G Tank, 2 Stage, Single phase. Everything I think I could ever need.

Nice. That 7.5HP is just about the biggest compressor that still runs on single phase (Quincy might make a single phase 10HP). That should do everything you'd need in a home shop (unless you do lots of sandblasting).

Took me awhile to actually dig up all the spec's on the unit and didn't realize until I got it home that it is a Quincy Xtreme 7.5. Quite with an after cooler..
