New compressor today!

I finally have a new compressor! I just picked up a new C-Aire 7.5hp 80 gallon unit. Now I will say goodbye to my noisy little Craftsman.

Just arrived at it's new home.

Here it is in what I think will be it's final resting place.

I finally finished plumbing the air lines for the compressor. I used a Wilkerson filter, dial regulator, and all 3/4" type L copper. 7 drops all with ball valves and 2 50' hose reels.
I'm sure glad it's done!

I have seen it used a lot. Many people even use the lighter type M, but I prefer to use the heavier type L for air lines.

I believe the Camaro was an original Z28, but the original engine and transmission are not there to prove it. It now has a Shafiroff built 540 and a Rossler TH400 so all is well

How much space is there between the back of the belt guard and the wall? There is supposed to be a minimum of 8" or so (check the manual) for sufficient cooling air.

I left 6" between the belt guard and the wall.
