Hi All,

I have a new concrete garage floor (3 inches over the top of the old floor) Winter salt and calcium have ruined the original untreated or sealed floor over the years. REALLY do not want that happening again.

Looking for the best option.
Seal it with a solvent-based sealer or epoxy coat it?
I was looking into a Spartan sealer and or their epoxy Next Generation 100.

Here is the sealer

Here is the epoxy

Does anyone have any knowledge of these products?

I REALLY only want to lay this stuff down once for MANY MANY years so whatever the best option would be is probably what I am going to do.
If anyone has any suggestions on better products please by all means enlighten me.
Thanks in advance.

Look into ghost shield products as a penetrating sealer. It will keep salt destruction away. Vendors here carry it and can advise on what will be best on your application.

Hands down use this.... Ballistix..Nothing compares for salt and chemical and tire-staining resistance.
We sell it in complete, ready to install kits too at a cost of well under $1.00/sq ft.

Does anyone know of a good epoxy product a homeowner can put down and not have to mess with it for 20 years or more? Is there such a product these days?
Also, on brand new concrete, (a week or two old) how long should one wait to install an epoxy or a sealer?

Thanks in advance
