New Concrete Questions

Just building a new house are I have a few Question for the Concrete floor experts.

None of this have been sealed yet. Buffalo, New York area lots of snow and ice.

Basement to be finished in future.
Should I leave this for now or do I need to seal this? apx 2500 sq feet.

Garage and workshop apx 1300 sq ft.
What are my options, I will be using the work shop for tools and vechicle storage or maybe vehicle projects I also have a 30x40 pole barn I plan on building in future.

Out side garage parking pad 48' by 30'
do I need to seal this and if yes when and with what.

Excellent questions. It is a good idea to place some type of barrier between your concrete and the stainmakers (leaky cars, lawn mowers, etc...). Areas like yours that have salt riddled winter roads present a real need for protection . This salt comes into your garage via your vehicles and it begins to erode the concrete .

Basements can benefit from at least a treatment of densifier to help stem "dusting". Dusting occurs from brooming and foot traffic.

Thanks what about a sealer for the outside pad?

can I do the basement later? I can see how bad the dusting is till then.
