put a sheet of plastic down on a clean floor and tape it down, wait a day or 2 and see if you have any moisture.

I believe that's how most do it.

A sealer since it penetrates and breathes is not very susceptible to floor moisture. Check with your vendor though. The plastic sheet method above is correct, just to clarify the sheet should be about 4' square and tape all four edges down.
