When my wife wanted to downsize from a house to a condo she said I could set up the garage with flooring and cabinets. I immediately started my research and found Racedeck along with an amazing amount of information on this site.

Thanks for helping me make my decision!

I read through tons of threads and I decided on Racedeck. After picking my colors, Graphite and Blue flow through, I then designed my floor using the online tool. I submitted the design for a quote. I was quickly contacted by Shauna and we discussed the options. She was great to talk with and provided a ton of useful tips.

My Racedeck arrived in the next few days and I prepped the garage for the new look.

After getting everything prepped I started laying down the floor. I ran into an issue, I received to many of the blue and not enough graphite.

I called Shauna and she immediately shipped out the graphite, no questions asked. She also sent the UPS guy to pickup the extra blue. Great customer service!

I also ordered new cabinets and they showed up a little early, oh well.

After getting the additional tiles I was able to get my new floor and cabinets installed in one day.

Installation was a breeze, I used a craftsman Bolton with a circular saw attachment to cut the tiles. The only other tool I used was my Govt issue personal transportation device.

Love the new floor!

Thanks for the comments, the garage will house my daily driver ML550 and on weekends my little run around '88 911 (The Ghost). I will get a pic with The Ghost this weekend.

The cabinets are New Age Performance Plus that I found on Sams Club online site.

The garage is 19'6" X 19'6" and it was a little over $1000. RaceDeck is a great customer focused company.

Coincedentally, right after I finished my install I was watching a replay of My Classic Car that originally aired in January 2014 and Jorgen Moller was on the show talking about the bigger tiles and the new colors.

Looks great, both the floor and the cabinets.

Question - is there some type of transition piece at the front of the garage to hold the product in palce or to keep the edge from damage?

The front edge piece is 3x12 rounded or sloped transition piece. The floor floats and doesn't attach to the cement.

What do you think of the quality of the cabinets and are they easy to assemble?

I like them a lot. I looked at a lot of different options (Gladiator, Sabre, etc.) and settled on the Newage when the package went on sale at Sams. I liked the Sabre, but they were out of my price range. The Newage cabinets are very solid and do not have any sharp edges. They really thought through the packing, I did not have any issues with the finish.

They come fully assembled except for the feet and the shelves. All I had to do was unpack them, which required two people minimum (see the pick of the two large boxes on skids), put the legs on the units with the drawers (the large cabinets had the feet attached) and level each cabinet. The wall cabinets were easy to put up using a tip from the forum (thanks!). I installed two 2x4's the length of the wall cabinets on the back wall and put a slotted angle iron piece on the bottom 2x4. The angle iron was used to support the bottom of the wall cabinet while I secured the cabinets at the top.

After I got everything connected I had to install the shelves in the tall cabinets and adjust a couple doors to make sure they closed correctly.

The last thing I did was wipe them all down and then sprayed some car wax on them to keep them looking nice. (yeah, I'm one of those guys)

Nice cabinets. The Performance Plus line are 1 mm thick steel with a high gloss finish. The Performance line are 24 gauge steel and have a matte finish. NewAge e-mailed me today, and said the sales have been so good that the red cabinets are sold out. They're waiting on that slow boat from China for more.
