Hi Guys

After several years active on the HAMB and decades of messing with, building and modifying cars, from hot rods to sports cars, I felt it was time to join this fine community and gain insights into how to plan my next working space/paradise. I will be downsizing in the near future from my current location and consolidating my collection. So now I need to figure out how to maximize space in a controlled (read HOA) neighborhood and squeeze a figurative gallon into a pint pot. I look forward to learning much on here and being able to share some of my limited knowledge.

Welcome.

While I see many, many ways to consolidate a work space, there never seems to be an answer for an extra car or two. I guess you can park one above another on a lift, but I don't like that idea so much. So, I park cars in the garage and work outside in a car port.

Welcome to the forum.

It is possible to 'fit ten pounds of cars and tools into a five pound garage.'

If we're talking really small (like 20x22), then my garage might have some ideas in it that are helpful to you. But there are a lot of other places here where limited workspace has been pushed to some cool places.

hamb is a nasty dirty 4 letter word,
I was thrown off there on my first post,
no warning, no help, just "we don't need your kind!"
so to me , when you say your from the humb, I can understand completely.
welcome to one of the most informative forums on the web.
no attitudes here, no "its my ball, and you WILL play by my rules"
sorry for the rant.
just think someone on the humb has real issues! :lol_hitti

again welcome!

I'm a fellow HAMBer myself. It is a unique cast of characters and huge membership. As long as you stick to the topic at hand, which is 1964 and older traditional hot rods, it is a very fun and resourceful community.

as my name implys, I have a 57 chevy, which , last time I checked, was before 1964.
