Alright, moving into a new construction home. Told the Mrs. that I want to coat the garage floor, and basement floor before we move in.
Garage floor is 400 ft2. Coating - epoxy with paint chips, I am getting a price for a contractor to apply http://www.hpspartacote.com/ to the garage. I'll post what the quote is.
Basement floor is 1300 ft2. - Sherwin William - Armorseal Tread-plex (plan on making a floor tile pattern). I've done this already in our existing home, it looks great. It is easy to do, but takes time laying down the grid of tape.
Question(s):
1. What do you recommend for the expansion joints? The contractor recommended filling them in with sand and then adding an expoxy liquid to solidify and doing a seamless floor coating on top.
