Hey Guys,
So I'm about to move into my first house with my wife. We make settlement the end of May.
I attached an image of the size of the garage as well as an image of what the floor looks like. The floor is a typical residential concrete I would guess.
One of the important things I want to take car of is a durable and nice looking floor. I think the look I am going for is grey with a multi colored flake. It is important to me to also have it be non-slip.
I'm a big garage guy and can't wait to finally have my own space. I am a big DIY car guy and will have a lift and I expect to get into several fun projects such as engine swaps etc. There will be welding as well as fluid spills from time to time. I do however expect to clean any spills up relatively quickly.
I am looking for a DIY product that I can finish the whole space for $1000-$1500 (the less the better).
I've been looking at products from various vendors but there are so many its hard to tell what's right for me.
Is there any rule to having to wait sometime for new concrete to cure a certain amount of time before being able to apply a coating?
Thanks for any help!
